Linda is a native of California, whose love of travel has taken her many places. She has lived in Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, Italy and Germany. She currently resides in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Linda's journey into art began while she was Living in Italy with her husband and three young children. She took lessons in oil painting with Ernesto Scudiero, of Livorno, from 1992- 1993. Painting came naturally to her and she has worked continuosly in a variety of media. Self teaching through books and museum visits kept Linda challenged after moving to Vicenza in 1994. During their three year stay in Germany, she began to work in stained glass. The colors and textures of the glass would later influence her luminous style of painting. Upon moving back to the U. S., she continued to explore new mediums. Linda studied watercolor with Kay Orr from 1998-1999. Her formal art education began in 2001 as she added "a college education" to her list of things to do. She was influenced by numerous teachers at Rose State College and the University of Central Oklahoma, including Connie Seabourn, Cletus Smith and Howard Koerth. She focused on three dimensional art and mural painting, while at school. Painting murals with Dr. Bob Palmer opened new horizons of opportunity for Linda. She continues to do collaborative murals as well as her own projects. In 2004, Linda opened her studio and began teaching and beginning to launch her career in art. She continues to explore new ideas and hopes always to be a student .
